Difema Global Salud's international health insurance covers all Difema Global Salud countries. There are some countries where residents (both citizens and expatriates residing in the country) cannot be covered by Difema Global Salud as these countries are classified as “sanctioned countries” (by the United States or the United Kingdom); or due to local regulations that do not allow Difema Global Salud to do business there. Once a member is covered, they can travel anywhere in the world on long or short trips, with the exception of a 30-day limit in the United States, Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong. If a trip to the US, Canada, Singapore or Hong Kong is longer than 30 days, an add-on can be purchased. Please note that Singapore and Hong Kong residents must purchase an add-on to be covered.

Yes, pre-existing conditions are always covered by Difema Global Salud, no questions asked.

There is no mandatory verification of pre-existing conditions before the policy begins.

“Add-ons” are additional benefits that employees can add to their plan for a fee. When you sign up, you have the option to include the following plugins:

Yes, Difema Global Salud is still a useful international health insurance, no matter what type of health system your country of residence has.

(i) In countries with public systems (for example: United Kingdom, Norway, Germany)

Visit any private hospital for the best and fastest service. Skipping lines means getting back to health faster and getting back to work faster.

If your hospital treatment is covered by your public health system, you will receive a cash bonus for each night you are in a public hospital in your home country.

Access treatments not normally provided by standard public health care, for example, the latest available cancer treatment regimens.

Use this coverage wherever you live, move or work, so if you're a nomad or traveling, you don't need other insurance to cover your health.

(ii) In countries without public systems (for example: Vietnam)

You can get coverage at the best hospitals in your country of residence or in almost any other country in the world. Without it, you would pay out of pocket for any medical care.

Yes. To add a newborn as an insurance dependent in your Difema Global Salud health plan, we will need to receive a copy of the newborn's birth certificate within the first 90 days of birth.

After the deadline for adding a newborn passes, you can still try to add your child by submitting an add dependent request.

Yes, there are two ways to add dependents or family members to your insurance plan.

(1) Add your dependent/family member during your initial application process

EITHER

(2) As life changes occur (marriage, childbirth, or adoption), file an application for adding dependents. Your request will be processed quickly.

The Difema Global Salud repatriation benefit will allow non-citizen residents to fly to their countries for medical treatment in cases where local care is not adequate. In unfortunate cases of death, remains can also be repatriated using Difema Global Salud.
